The People's Court And Me

So, I have a confession to make:

I enjoy watching "The People's Court". It comes on at 1:00 p.m. every weekday. I don't watch it every day, but sometimes I'll be out and about, will realize it is 1:15, and be a little bit sad I missed it that day. Here's why I like it:

-Judge Marilyn Millian (Did I spell that right?). She is an amazing woman: confident, funny, not swayed by manipulation, inconsistent but doesn't give a darn, says what she means... I love her. I wish I were more like her.

-I love to hate Curt Chaplin. He's a jerk. He's one of those always-has-to-have-the-last-word kind of guys who you know is just as arrogant at home as he is in the hallway. I want to smack him every time he gives that smug little shrug.

-I feel like I'm learning about New York State law every time I watch the show. I wish it were based in California, though.

But today--oh today I saw the funniest thing EVER. Well, maybe not the funniest thing ever, but it was pretty darned tootin' funny. Here's the link. Go check it out and let me know your reaction:

Another thing we have in common Crystal. I love her too, she is so cool :) I used to have to watch People's Court everyday before we got cable. In fact I watched People's Court, Judge Joe Brown, and Judge Alex as I did my daily housework. I don't know why but I was just intrigued by the odd things people would bring to court and how the law would see it. Plus, you are so right, some of those people are too funny! The guy you showed me was pretty funny too, lol at it being hard having facial hair. That guy needs some sleep bad, LOL!

I disagree. I don't like Judge Millian. She is way too dramatic. It's so obvious that she is being overly dramatic for ratings. She wears an ear piece in each ear. You can see it if you look for it. She is being fed on what to say. She is so not real. All of these judge shows are for entertainment. I'm not saying the litigants aren't real. It's just that the judges add drama for ratings. I too would like to be more confident but not to the degree of being overly dramatic because then you become over bearing and people don't like that.
